What does my divot mean?? Analysing a divot plays a vital role in analysingwhat was wrong with a shot. Here are some resultsand reasons for the fault
Divot aiming left - the swingpath is too much from out to in. This will cause apull or a slice
Divot aiming Right - The club istoo far from inside to out. This will usuallyproduce a good strike, but usually to the right.
Deep divots - The swing is toosteep, this can lead most commonly to a fattedshot. Or a big slice
Shallow divots - Not enough shaftangle, usually leads to high and shorter shots
