Fitting Day

We held a very successful Srixon fitting day last Tuesday.

The products went down well, and we managed to do 7 fittings for our members. If you missed out on that day, please book a fitting with us in the studio. The product is fantastic.

LITHIUM PRICES ARE DOWN!

Motocaddy have brought out their new Motocaddy S1 trolley. With this they have reduced the price of a lithium battery with the trolley. The standard lead acid battery is £299, but with the lithium it is now only £399 rather than £449

Saving £50 on the previous trolleys.

The S1 also has a new simple mechanism to put the trolley up and down much easier than previous models.

Competition news

Congratulation go to David Wrycraft for winning the VJ Cup this week! 15 Handicapper David won this major championship with a super score of 39 points! David had 2 birdies in his round, including a 4 pointer on the 2nd hole!

This Boarded Competition was the closest event of the year, will no less than 7 players within a single shot. These players were Mike Carroll, Ian Parry, Harry Totham, Mike Lapham, Roger Robertson, Lorenzo Austin and Micky Potter.

With the course in fabulous condition, there was a total of 11 players within 2 shots, with Maureen Devenish the top lady with 37 points.

Congratulations to member Micky Potter for achieving his goal of becoming a single figure handicapper for the first time!

Surprisingly with such fantastic scores, there were only three 2's! With £21 per 2!

Our Golf Millennium week was a fantastic week, brilliantly supported by our members! Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to our sponsors for the week, making our week so fun and successful!

Coaching news

Finish up on that right foot!

One of the most common problems that I witness in golf lessons, is where the weight finishes at the end of the swing. Finishing flat footed will cause a slice and a huge loss of power. This comes from lack of extension through the ball!

When golfers extend through the ball, the arms pulls the body weight through the ball and up into a full finish.

A good finish is not just for show, it is a sign of great extension and more speed and power!
