Cobra One LengthThese are perfect for golfers who struggle with their long irons, and need more height on their approach shots. After extensively working with these irons, there are 3 major differences between these and normal variable length irons.
1. Longer irons are easier to strike - giving less distance loss and more accuracy
2. Short irons go much higher, being able to achieve more carry and quicker stop in the summer
3. Same setup, allows less thinking and much better tempo. Just change the ball position for the appropriate club

With the men's Winter Leagues now into the knockout stages it is the ladies at Colchester Golf Club who continue to play competitive golf, albeit in an easier format.
Joan Cotterill came out tops with a win in a fourteen-hole Stableford on a cold and brisk day at the Braiswick course.
Playing off a handicap of 25 she marked a par on the eleventh and keeping most of the rest of the holes to bogeys from which she was able to return 28 points, which put her one clear of
Linda Freeman (19).
Freeman's 27 points were enough to give her second place on her own whilst third and fourth place, both on 25 points were
Annie Johnston (14) and
Wendy Smith (22).
Val Doubleday (26) and
Hannah Butcher (22) shared 24 points to take 5th and 6th spots.
